On May 22nd, the 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair officially opened. This year, Dongguan specially invited a group of representative local trendy toy companies to participate in the exhibition, continuing to enhance the city's brand as the "China's designer toy capital".

"Global toys come from China, and Chinese toys come from Dongguan." As the largest toy export base in the country, nearly 85% of China's trendy toys are produced in Dongguan. In 2024, the city was home to 160 large-scale enterprises involved in trendy toy production, achieving a total revenue of nearly 23.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of nearly 19%. The industry's development momentum remains strong.

At this year's fair, the Dongguan exhibition hall featured display areas focusing on trendy fashion, warm companionship, high-tech interaction, and hardcore assembly. For example, Langbowang showcased trendy toy derivatives of domestic animation IPs such as "Ne Zha" , highlighting Dongguan's achievements in creative design, craftsmanship, and brand development. AI-powered trendy toy "Wa Sansui" ("Three-Year-Old Doll"), independently developed by Dongguan Pretty Toy Co., Ltd., interacts intelligently with users through dialogue, facial expressions, and motion feedback. Dongguan Weishi Culture Technology Co.,Ltd. presented the world's first 3D metal puzzle, unveiling the "Ten-mile Red Dowry" series, which uses intricate metal assembly to revive the essence of traditional wedding rituals. Sum's Model Toys Co.,Ltd. introduced its "Pangda" IP, inspired by the national treasure, the giant panda, which has been featured as large-scale art installations in cities such as Beijing, Chengdu, and Shenzhen. Additionally, the exhibition highlighted creative roasted goose cultural products and unique installations, promoting the Dongguan roasted goose alliance and the roasted goose food map.

本届文博会上,东莞展厅设立了潮流时尚、温暖陪伴、高科技互动、硬核拼装等领域展示区。其中,广东狼博旺实业有限公司代理生产销售《哪吒之魔童降世》等国产动漫IP衍生潮玩产品,彰显东莞时尚潮玩产品在创意设计、工艺制造和品牌建设方面取得的成果;大漂亮(东莞市)玩具有限公司自主研发的AI智能潮玩产品“娃三岁”,能够与用户进行智能对话、表情互动、动作反馈等;东莞市微石文化科技有限公司世界首创3D金属拼图,打造了“十里红妆”系列,以精密金属拼装技艺再现传统婚俗文化精髓;顺林模型礼品股份有限公司研发的“胖哒”IP形象,以国宝熊猫为原型,在北京、成都、深圳等地都设置了大型艺术地标。本次展会还精心打造烧鹅文创产品与特色装置,宣传推介东莞烧鹅联盟、烧鹅美食地图。
